25 Sept 2023

Hi there, I'm Nana and my blog is Nano Here, where I will be sharing my journey of learning web and software development.

For a while now I have been trying to learn web development technologies like HTML, CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, SQL, MongoDB, Python, Django, C#, .Net, Cypress for automation testing and much more. Perhaps my approach in the past wasn't the best as I was trying to learn all of these all at once and I didn't have a real structure to my learning.

But now I've narrowed it down so I can make my learning much more manageable and achievable. My focus is going to be on HTML, CSS, Tailwind, SQL and mainly JavaScript. I would like to learn Python and C# too however, for starters, I believe JavaScript is great because it is beginner-friendly and is one of the most popular programming languages out there right now, which means there will be lots of resources out there to help me.

I am also thinking of challenging myself...and the challenge is: can I learn JavaScript to a high, job-ready standard using only free resources? Or even, can I learn HTML, CSS, bootstrap SQL and mainly JavaScript to a job-ready standard? Is it really possible to learn how to become a full stack web developer using only free resources?

Let's see, I hope I can, that would be great and would show just how far we have come with the accessibility to learn these technologies.

I hope this blog can encourage someone and myself to start this journey and one day I hope to look back at this post and see all the progress we've made!

Thank you for reading! :)
